some twisted fairy tales of love not meant to be.

jim keeble's the A-Z of Us surprised me. i teared at the sudden death of ian and laughed at the similarities of my life with gem's. parallel universes could exist but it leads me wonder; who's copying who?

a well thought out story, from beginning to end; every line, every conversation, every setting plays a part to the crux. an easy and enjoyable read.

lesson learnt: there are no maps in relationships, love or emotions -- and the old maps don't work anymore. so say hello to the territory never crossed, never judged, never seen. we are all explorers. just another addition to my 100-book library.

an instant antidote, powerful
shorter than ten seconds
you're lip on lip
and you're flung from a car at 80 miles
in that instant you know
physical attraction is no less than a gram
or more, but you know

"that moment released everything. it was like some strange fairy tale, where the Prince and Princess kiss only to find they were never meant to be together."
