i'm taking some time out from reading my spanish textbook. i've read every single word n the damn book for the last 133 pages; i NEED to take a break and find out what the rest of the world is thinking.
i picked a random idea from my hat and it's AVATAR. yes, the inbound to theatres movie by James Cameron (director/writer of Titantic - flashback to Rose and Jack waiting in the freezing ocean for someone to come rescue them.)
question: what form of feedback and reviews of movies do you trust?
a) my friends/brother/sister-in-law told me the movie was shitty.
b) the ever friendly faces in the newspaper's entertainment section.
c) online sources like
rotten tomatoes.
if you're like me, the answer is
(c).
i like to read what other people (in the hundreds) think - be they e-critics or the mass consumers like you and me.
so far... as of today, Avatar's reading on Rotten Tomatoes is 91%, which is pretty damn good.
