confusion lies on its own belly, face down in the sorrow of not knowing itself. it searches the world over sometimes only to find nothing was ready to be found. confusion is but a name that throws itself against the woes of people who don't try to face up to the challenges ahead. - Valerie Anne

i've had two different dreams that turned into what i wouldn't call nightmares. at the end of the night, when i wake, i'm not tired nor rested - but calm and feeling better than okay.

the first dream 2 nights ago, involved me driving off a 50 ft cliff into the dark ocean. but just before the head of the car takes that nose-dive, i bath in the setting sun's rays, and gaze into the most colourful sky i'd ever seen. the part that confuses me is the lady stranger i'd never seen before who sat in the driver's seat at the beginning of the dream. but once the car took off over the cliff, i became the driver and the stranger disappeared.

the second dream last night, had me waiting at a quiet train station, only to be caught deer in the headlights of the century's worst train wreck disaster. i didn't die. i was flung like a ragdoll, and hit a cement pillar. i somehow managed to break all the bones on the right side of my body and leave my left side of the body completely scar free. no blood, no screaming, almost like a silent movie.

i went to Coles (a bookstore like kinokuniya in singapore) to read up books like 'the dictionary of dreams'.

in summary, i am on a pathway - perhaps leading away or completely different from the one i'm currently on - maybe in fact speedily, but certainly hopeful and bright-eyed. the train station signifies a transitional phase where i'm approaching a new direction in life. something about the renewal of the spirit and putting aspects of myself together, and being firm in the face of adversity.

i'm feeling good about this.
