HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! (:

ah yes, the calgary chinatown and our asian food markets were swamped prior to the weekend celebrations. not that i took part in any of it, but i did hear stories on the news about how asians flocked to the 'designated asian areas of calgary' in the Cold weather. i had a reunion dinner with my family (i.e. my brother and jo) on Sunday, and that was A.W.E.S.U.M (:

i know some have been wondering what have i been up to, seeing that i don't update my blog much anymore. well, nothing awesome to report really. i've been working full time, studying part-time and breathing air for the rest of the time.

let me lay it out for you
Mon-Fri: 9-5PM, Zasuu (sometimes till late-Late.)
Wed: Evenings, Platinum Productions Meeting
Thurs: 6.30-9.30PM, PSYC of Personality
10PM, another never-to-be-missed episode of Grey's Anatomy
Fri: more often then not (lately), it's a Jess+Val night to ensure the boys don't do anything stupid
Sat: 1-5PM, PSYC of Aging
Nights, agreeing or disagreeing at Blockbuster with the crew over what movie to rent (we're trying to save money, and people know that going out is kinda money out the window) - i usually fall asleep part-way anyway
Sunday: Church (when I don't miss that bus / my girlfriend lends me her 4x4)
Afternoons, meeting with Platinum Girls
Nights, the occasional dinners i love with ryan and jo (:

i spoke to my mom via skype on CNY, and she asked me if working full-time and studying part-time still gives me time to do fun things. i have to admit, there ain't much time for fun when you're working. but i also have to admit that i spend most of my days in a building, on a chair (swivel, yes i have that many privileges), hunched over a computer (completely attached to the internet) or on the skype phone with my boss from brazil. occasionally i get to take the company car out onto icy roads and hit up the warehouse (which is OH-SO-MUCH-FUN-KILL-ME-NOW) in negative temperatures and get frosty fingers.

still, i love my job. and the economy is shit.

and now, onto what you were waiting for! The Random Picture Of The Day: california, six flags, Dec 29, 2008.  the last time i took a picture with a life-size cartoon was... quite some time ago.
