i went to the Undergraduate Programs Office (UPO) yesterday cos i thought i might be bumped from my Stats class for not meeting the pre-requisites. the student online service centre (where you enrol for your classes told me so. i waited in line to meet with the lady who at 9.30AM looked like she was wishing she could be somewhere else - somewhere nice and warm to be specific. she was super helpful when i explained that i just wanted to find out if i was good to go for Stats. it seems you need to have a minimum 50 on Math 30 aka Math II. my GCE O levels in E-math qualified me at a solid 90, and A-math at 75.
i later tell her that i'm taking Psych as a major, and she says that she doesn't recommend i take this class cos i would have to take a Psych course that is equivalent to Stats. this would result in my Stats class grades being negligible and "a huge waste of $1,000".
so. here's the update. i've been looking online through a gazillion classes, hoping to find something that would fit my awesome pre-planned schedule and allowing me to work 3 weekdays a week.
and i have settled for FILM 201. oh yes, welcome back to more "mes-en-scene", "panning", and other fantabulous terms like "wide shots" and "dollies" AND the theory of film, ladies and gentlemen. it's gonna be interesting.
