(if anyone can tell me what the name of the song is, i would really appreciate it; in fact i'd bring you out to lunch! i have no idea what the title is, but it's been ringing in my head since 2pm today!)
i've been studying most of my day away, and i'm still in school while it's minutes away from 10pm. i'm hungry. *val's stomach rumbles and grumbles about the lack of attention. -_-
earlier today, i was reading the chapter on pre-natal development and other life stages in my psychology textbook, when it hit me that i am now twenty years old. hahaa... (
okaaay, thinking about it was one thing, but to type it out now make me sound abso-freakin'-lutely stupid.) :P well, as of 17 december 2007, i officially (by my psych textbook standards) have become a young adult.
so i had to ask myself, "why did it take so long for me to register the fact that i turned 20?"
the only answer i could think up of was because i didn't have you guys around to make it
official. you know that when you're in SG, and you have your circle of closest buds with you, your birthday would be a memorable one (not saying that my 20th birthday wasn't...), but it's just that you weren't here... do you get what i mean? that's all i can say.
maybe i should do what soph did and have a pre-birthday celebration when i get back into SG in july/august. if i do make it happen, you're invited.
oh oh oh! to my ladies in the south, i just had a BRILLIANT idea! why don't we celebrate our birthdays when i fly into melb?! i'm a genius, i know. (:
