it's
engineering PIE week. what is engineering PIE week? it is the only week of the year that gives people the opportunity to hire engg students for $5 to, well, pie their friends! yesterday, two guys, dressed in white overalls, sat through my psych class. of course i would think that the white overalls were the ultimate on sexy (: to top it off, the two guys wore cartoon animal hats. (one guy wore a cow. yeahh.) so. at the end of psych class, they announce 2 guys' names who were bought pies. and within the next minute, the 2 guys who were called, were on their knees, black rubbish bags over their shoulders, and with pies in their faces and more smushed into their hair. tomorrow will see to the end of 3.14 week. if you haven't got it yet. it's march (3).14th. pie... yum. (:
Q: would you eat expired yoghurt?i had coffee with jo today; finally, an opportunity to catch up. like she says, it's been ages (could be months) since we really sat down to talk.
life moves on without us most of the times, sometimes. things have been going well; all is peachy.
i've been itching to write - stories, fiction.... stories. i was planning to submit a story for a fiction-writing competition where the best stories get published in the campus annual 'storybook'. to sum it up, i didn't. i never really got down on it, or on anything lately.
jo says that she thinks i've kinda grown up. i feel like it too. i'm feeling braver, feeling stronger. what was that quote by Alexander Supertramp again? "once in a while, we not only have to be strong, but feel strong..." or something like that.
i'm currently reading a novel by
Ibi Kaslik entitled '
Skinny'. it's about
anorexia nervosa from the POV of the anorexic and her star athelete younger sister. though i'm only at chapter 4, it is completely capable of driving a wrench into a well-oiled system and screwing the system up. no, i'm not thinking of starving myself, but i almost WANT to feel what she (the anorexic) is going though, and i don't want to either because it feels like i am when i'm reading her thoughts. i think it's gonna be a brilliant read.
love for all.
A: hell no. "give it to me! i'd mix it with my morning cereal." can you say 'eee'?
