i want to buy a clock for my room. i am rather specific about not wanting a digital clock, and i walked into my school store to see this huge ass analog clock that i actually like.
"excuse me, does that clock tick?"
"sorry?"
"erm... i have issues with clocks that tick."
"oh haha... i understand."
"i really like that clock, but i can't sleep with clocks that tick loudly. i might go crazy."
"i think you can return it if it ticks too loudly."
"perfect. i'll come back tomorrow."
i bought a bikini on sunday (and it is very subtly sexy (: ); i
really really want to go swimming. it's been pretty warm out, but no way am i going to go swimming in 8C. i remember going to KL (or somewhere) and the hotel's swimming pool was on the 15th floor. it sure felt a lot higher because i remember stepping out onto the deck and feeling like we were in the clouds! so there is wayne jumping into the pool, and i'm dipping my toes into the water and saying, "it's COLD!" i made an attempt to swim, and gave up after 5 minutes. it was too cold. i think it was probably 20C out.
yesterday was the first day of school after Reading Break. there were so many students sporting sunburns, crutches and broken ankles. i'm honestly jealous, i can't wait to fly to somewhere warm. the opportunity might come sooner than i expected; ian's flying into miami end of this march to spin at a DJ event; and i think i might make a trip to see him and support his party. time to go
