after working through boxing day and the crazy christmas sales at the shoe store, i've decided to move onto something else. for my piggy bank and sanity's sake.

i explained to my boss that i was looking for a new job, specifically one that pays better. she was swell and understanding; recommending i try this jewellery store one floor down in the same building. she told me their pay, and i was sold. i went down and applied and got the job on the spot, AND i'm starting thursday (: not only is this job is paying more per hour, the hours are great too! AND i'll be indoors during the winter season! woohoo!

i would've called all of you to tell you the great news, but it would've been 6am SG time. i'm too nice to do that. surely. (: i called him to leave a message on his answering machine to tell him the awesome news. he called me back when he got home, before showering. (:
