stolen and inspired by Hatta

If your life were a soundtrack, what would the music be?
1. open your library (e.g. iTunes, winamp, media player, Zen, iPod)
2. put it on shuffle
3. press play
4. for every question, type the name of whatever song comes up
5. new question—press the next button
6. don’t lie and try to pretend you’re cool

SOUNDTRACK FOR MY LIFE …

opening credits:
Akon feat. Eminem - Smack That
Remixed by DJ SKEE

what a way to start anything! "to possibly bend you over..."

waking up:
Incubus - Stellar (Acoustic)

"how do you do it; make me feel the way i do... you are stellar."
random: incubus's I Miss You was my cellphone's ringtone.

first day at school:
Colder - Version

it's an electronic piece. urban warpy with rhythm.

falling in love:
Sam The Sham & The Pharoahs - Wooly Bully

the quintessential tex-mex band of the 1960s. it a song about his cat called Wooly Bully. ???. what is it doing my music? it has good a saxophone solo.

breaking up:
American Hi-Fi - I'm A Fool

this track would more likely be used for someone who's crushing on the girl who doesn't know he exists - "i am a fool for you. yes i am."

prom or similar:
Robbie Williams - Strong

not exactly a prom song. the best line by far is,
"life's too short to be afraid, step inside the sun."

life’s okay:
Jack Johnson - Banana Pancakes

"can you see that it's just raining, ain't no need to go outside..."
chilled. most of johnson's songs make me want to do nothing all day. life is okay and blah.

mental breakdown:
Lifehouse - Sick Cycle Carousel

"keep spinning around, i know that it won't stop, until i step down from this for good."
good track. good melody. good feel.

driving:
Fall Out Boy - Thriller

i never thought about this song as a driving song, but now that i hear it, i would turn this up while on the highway on my roadtrip to anywhere out of calgary.
"so long live the car crash hearts."

flashback:
Emiliana Torrini - Serenade

no flashbacks available but if i had to think about it, i'd have someone in mind. "the heart bears indentations... i can hear my name be reborn on the cloud beneath the sky before the dawn."

getting back together:
Richard Marx and Donna Lewis - At the Beginning

HAHAHHAHAA.
ABSOLUTELY not the right song. still, it's a very happy camper song.

wedding:
Goo Goo Dolls - Sunshine of Your Love

Uh huh. I can so see this heavier rock piece being played a wedding; it's more than a little bit screamy. Still, the electric guit bits has some kickass rifts. It means well though; " I'll stay with you 'till the seas are dried up..."

birth of child:
Bread - I Would Give Everything I Own

finally. a song that makes sense with the topic intended.

final battle:
Frank Sinatra - Let's Face the Music and Dance

Ooh, LOVE this one. I imagine us whipping out our swords and dueling on the dance floor, just like a musical. en garde. very smooth.

death scene:
Air Supply - All Out Of Love

the intro to this piece is a sweet piece for a death scene, maybe a suicide scene. haha.
"I'm lying alone... and thinking about you till it hurts...".

funeral song:
Frank Sinatra - I Get A Kick Out of You

kicking the bucket. how perfect.
"i get no kick from champagne."

end credits:
Ne-Yo - Sexy Love

YES YES YES! (: without a doubt my favourite song! I just want to dance to this track forever, with someone i want to dance with forever.

love. (:

it's a good saturday. hello ladies.
