Q: could the grass, on the other side, be all shades of purple?
what you don't have you wished you did.
what you do have you sometimes wished for more.
what you wanted you didn't own.
what you want you will never own.
what about the people who don't want anything? would that be the predominant feature and/or pre-requisite one would need to be part of the Happy Peachy People (HPP)?
The HPP are satisfied with life as it is and ask for nothing more because they have everything they think they want or could possibly get. The HPP live in a box with a glass ceiling. The HPP look at the world around them thinking that they couldn't do any better.
so i say to you now, Wanting is a good thing, because Wanting something better could mean you'll create a revolution that changes the world. now who doesn't want to change the world?
- i'm trying to write my philosophy paper on descartes's (say: deh-cart) "cogito ergo sum" - which means, "i think therefore i exist". i'm straddling whether to agree or disagree with him, so i spend most of my time free-writing. it's due in 2 weeks. my mid terms are next week. wish me luck. would it make sense to you if i said it doesn't feel like school.
A: you never know until you've walked the border and compared the difference between the grass found here and there.
