as you can clearly see these are POSTERS.

rephrased, these are posters that I bought from a travelling
POSTER FAIR in school. there were sooo many types of posters to choose from, i was spoilt for choice! i wanted to get the GHOSTBUSTERS (who ya gonna call?), and one that read, "MAKE ART NOT WAR", and and AND a poster of all sorts of beers and liquers - that read, "life. so many decisions." hahaha!
there were plenty of posters that were all about drinking and the stupidity of the Bush administration. -_- plenty of guys i met invested in Halo 3, Johnny Cash (and his middle finger), Pulp Fiction, Transformers and the mandatory hot girl/actress/singer in scantily clad outfits. haha. oh well.
it's what students here do; they buy posters and plaster their walls.

BUNNY SUICIDES by Riley.(please click to enlarge to view. it's pretty funny.)
on the right:
STREET DANCE
by Alvarez.you might not be able to see much (in the picture on the left - you can click on picture to enlarge...), but i've put this picture up to show where i've placed the posters. pardon the mess (if you can see it). it's my work space and as you can see, i've been working in a rather disorganised fashion. (:
to rah: i've put up your letter on the cork board next to my table. it's in your stila pink box! (: missu.now, turn your attention to these black and white pictures below.
on the left, it's a reknown photograph taken by J.A. Hampton at Hyde Park, London. Obviously not the original photograph, this inspiring duplicate is called, Leap of Faith

(above) on the right, is a photograph titled Urban Romance, though photographer is anonymous, this shot is one of many other gorgeous shots of romance in the streets. there was the one which is titled 'kissing the war goodbye' by Victor Jorgensen, go look that one up.
i've placed these two posters over my bed to fill the empty walls.
why did i choose these pictures you ask?BUNNY SUICIDES: it's funny. and it matches the colour of my walls.
STREET DANCE: i found it sexy, and comfortingl it put a smile on my face.
LEAP OF FAITH: for all the times i need a perk me up.
URBAN ROMANCE: to tell me that if love isn't for me right now, there still is love.
yes, i have put in effort to make it feel like home. i AM proud of it. and so it has been for the past month + 6 days, my home, my room, my place on Underhill Drive, in Calgary, in Alberta, in Canada.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Fall has come quick. it has come swift. it brings the winds, and it has also brought my first small snow day.
