i've been having a really good month (besides the fact that my sister went missing - she's been found btw. (:)

LAST FRIDAY:
although i missed out on eldon's ORD-ing bbq. (i know i know, i should be shot.), but i did have an awesome time celebrating nurul's 20th birthday. raf, her dearest boyfriend planned the whole thing, all down to a t.

venue: villa bali, locke road
date: 08JUNE07

the host, and his girlfriend.

raf made noo a video. and might i add, it was his first time. and a kickass first time at that.

happiest birthday ms noo.

feed me.

one of the guys at the party got piss-ass-ed drunk. it was really funny. but i'm not gonna put their pictures up because i don't know them personally. thanks to hatta for letting us crash at his (we intended to go to zouk, but didn't make it past hatta's door.) what else could we do but stay in and watch mtv. (:
the drunk guy is behind us, under the blue blanket/towel. he crashed on the couch and got up hours later. 'where am i?! whose place is this?!' - even if it's never happened to you, i'm sure we can all find this feeling.

ONE RANDOM WORKING DAY:
i did a photoshoot for a mag. very exciting. when the mag hits the stands, i'll let you know!

meet germaine, graduate of mass comm, and writer for the tech mag.

meet aaron, editor of the tech mag.

oh yes, that IS a heck lot of make up. and *random note: i did NOT photoshop the above 2 pictures.

EVERY SUNDAY:
there is the heineken gig that Sam introduced me to. and it's been great!

i love the uniform, i'm taking it home once we're done.

what in the world am i gonna do with it? i'm thinking of Halloween. i won't be around (in SG) anyway, so it'll be cool to wear it in canada right? they drink heineys over there right? right? (i'm totally clueless...)

other than having to count grimey bottlecaps and deal with unhappy bartenders/club owners/mama-sans, i generally like my job. plus the girls i work with make sundays fun. besides, i do have an occasional friend or two who would drop by, and it certainly does make my day too. (:

kudos to jon for helping me out this once, 'my hands have been through brunei and ocs, what's a couple of bottle caps?'

i thought this one other sunday was bad when we counted 18,000 over bottle caps. until i worked full shift last sunday, and we counted 26,000 bottle caps. AH HAHAHA.

i swear the stinking stale beer and rusted metal stench is still trapped under my nails. i'm not asking you to smell it, surely. ;P

ON MONDAY:
i went to the sentosa's beach to
1. exercise.
2. get a tan.
3. read jon's book - O'Brien's The Things They Carried
4. chill.
and of the 4 listed above, i was able to do 3 (: haha.

and even on a weekday, i can't get away from bottlecaps! (see the little metal thing hiding under the sand, between my feet. oh yes, that's a bottle cap.)

cafe del mar looking pretty from my pov

my attempt at a tanning session - apparently not too good; no one noticed the difference. haha.

i was having a very quiet, and uneventful day at the beach until he came along...
hi ian.
haha.

many many other things have been happening, i just haven't had the opportunity to photo-document 'em. there's always next time.

move of the week:
i was in borders, walking about, browsing. when i noticed someone following me. seriously.
i turned the corner.
he turned the corner.
i walked into the children's section.
he followed me into the children's section.
i continued into the young fiction.
he followed me into young fiction.
i looped to adult fantasy.
he followed me to adult fantasy.
i stopped short at horror/thriller, and decided to try history.
he followed my move, and snuck behind me into history.
i turn the corner and see jon, a friend.
the stranger is close behind.
i jump a hug on jon. at least he hugs back.
the stranger walks right by us.
'you see that guy, i swear i think he was following me about borders.'
'no, you just wanted a hug.'
'think what you want, but that guy was following me.'
'you okay?'
'yeah.'

conversation of the week:
'would you like to go out on a datedate with me on saturday?'
'take it back.'
'no.'
'take it back!'
'why? i can't take it back. i've already said it!'
'just take it back. say it - i like it back.'
'okay, fine. i take it back.'
'would you want to go out with me on saturday?'
'HAHAHA. yes.'
