i'm so close to graduating, i can already smell my diploma in mass communications.


let's see what i have accomplished in the past three years:

• survived 5 semesters of mass comm
• was attached to a publishing firm
• hosted dozens of events
• acted on film/dv
• went crazy in the radio studios
• argued with my CATS lecturer - thus resulting in a 'C'. bah.
• made another lecturer cry - i'm really sorry, but you were late!
• wrote thesis papers on teen sex, and the standard of singapore youth's oral english, cleft lips, and generation gaps
• froze for a minute in front of my class for speech communications - got an 'C' in the end.
• wrote a musical (script) for NP's national day celebrations
• made my own documentary - Loveless in Singapore (with liz)
• saw sandee scream 'MOJOJOJO' during acting
• got my funny fat bestfriend, rah, back (ok, not fat. but phat.)
• score an A for the MQE project - yes we are glam, jules, priya, sandee & mel (:
• went for my first and only mani and pedi (courtesy of sandee, my 2nd love)
• successfully avoiding mel's multiple attempts of hicky-ing me - i reinterate: i do not want a star, or the sun's ray coming out of some pretty cloud!
• sang for a mini musical - entitled 'newsroom'
• wonderful thought-provoking thoughts with tammi
• friendly debates with elizabeth
• late nighters with my project mates
• attica-ing with iylia (several saturdays in a row)
• got my ears pierced
• gotten into bad relationships
• gotten into worse relationships
• had a few good relationships :)
• had one fantastic boyfriend
• scuba diving with 3 seniors
• competed at nationals for dance.
• made out in a car. haha. yes, for memory keepsake, i'm putting it here.
• clubbing with fel, jerry, cody, kenneth, bryan, shermaine, hans, far, jon, sean, glenn, eldon, maddie and others who i KNOW i had tons of fun with
• was made a TMTC lady-killer, natania castelle
• snuck into clubs
• legally got into clubs
• got bounced at clubs - specially the no longer existing ChinaBlack. HA.
• danced with strangers at clubs
• walked into a bar with a bottle of wine in hand, requesting the bartender to open it for me. (the wine bottle was from cheers.)
• organised events within school
• got out of organising events for modules - Rachel's Late
• was a kickass orientation group leader
• made the toughest boys cry when the camp came to an end (yes, i am very proud of this. (:)
• broke a pair of specs
• bought my first pair of shades
• bought a nikon film cam
• kissed a girl
• kissed a guy
• FMSS graduation dinner at pan pacific
• 4E's class reunions
• hosted Baybeats 2006 - coolness
• shaved my head - into a mohawk (twice)
• making the finals of the canon dv fest (2 years in a row)
• got broke several times
• attending friend's ocs balls & social nights - darrell & almeric
• screamed 'liar' to someone's face - it's very, howtosay, exhilarating actually.
• went on a no shopping diet
• went on a no boys diet
• made pacts i kept
• saw a corpse
• tried sales on the streets in bright orange tank tops and white shorts - and failed miserably.
• had crazy halloween/ christmas/ birthday and new year parties
• saw sean tang in a cow suit
• got dressed as chun li from street fighter
• tried on the x-men outfit at no. 1 costumes costumes - sarah would love to tell you this story.
• seeing sarah flail her arms in the air in the lift just to chase a mosquito out.
• went to a gay bar
• said so many silly things i'll always remember - like heated cats, and getting pregnant in 9 mths
• AND made so many friends i'll never forget.

what's left to look forward to?
life. and two papers next week. (:
and maybe a best friend's tattoo. i'm still sitting on it.
